Under the general direction of the Deputy District Director, Administration, a CEA A, the incumbent has overall responsibility for the directing supervisory and analytical staff involved with District 03/North Region budget monitoring, data validation, database development, reporting, organizing, directing, supervising and reviewing the following areas: Budget Office and Business Intelligence.


Provides general direction to a Staff Service Manger I (SSMI), who supervises the work of the budgets staff and is responsible for providing work assignments, managing priorities, training for backup of key tasks, responding to tight deadlines imposed by Budgets, Training and Program Managers.

Provides guidance to the Budget Analysts during the absence of the SSM I in budget monitoring of ten divisions and eight programs in the District 03/North Region to resolve district budget issues and provide recommendations.

Provides general direction to staff working on the budget and organization of student assistant and volunteer programs.

  • Provides general direction to a Research Data Analyst Supervisor I (RDS), who directs and supports staff in the design, programming, maintenance and testing of complex databases for the management of District 03/North Region's various resources, including but not limited to position authority, operating expenditures, and personal service dollars.
Oversee the collaboration with other professionals concerned with data analysis, database programming and database management techniques including, but not limited to:
SQL, MySql, VBA, Python, PHP, HTML, Java, Java script, and the Microsoft Power Platform.

The incumbent will oversee and engage in the performance of data analysis, data management, statistical methods, and forecasting techniques to identify trends and track performance of the NR's various programs.

Will engage and coordinate the of research, compilation, analysis, and interpretation of complex technical program data from a variety of sources including, but not limited to:
AMS Advantage, lnfoAdvantage, Fiscal, SQL, strategic plans, dashboards, and various FileMaker Pro and Access databases.

Working Conditions


Position located in Marysville, Yuba County

  • The position is located at the District Office in Marysville, however occasional travel may be required to attend training and/or meetings.
