    Dana is a global leader in the supply of highly engineered driveline, sealing, and thermal-management technologies that improve the efficiency and performance of vehicles with both conventional and alternative-energy powertrains.     Job Purpose


    Dana Incorporated is seeking to fill a 2024 Fall Cybersecurity Engineering Intern position at their Novi Tech Center located in Novi, MI. This is a great opportunity to develop your technical skills by working alongside Dana's engineers in the completion of departmental oriented tasks/assignments.

    The Product Cybersecurity group is responsible for the development of Dana's embedded systems cybersecurity processes and platform solution to present in our control system solutions.

    Job Duties and Responsibilities



    • Review Dana's security standards and identify any gaps in security mechanisms

    • Perform Threat Analysis & Risk Assessment for project teams

    • Support cybersecurity solution design and development

    • Conduct vulnerability assessments and support the investigation of vulnerability reporting

    • Assist in developing and updating incident response playbooks

    Requirements

    • Enrollment and active pursuit of a Bachelor or Mater of Science in Engineering or Engineering specific majors: Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.

    • Cybersecurity relevant experience (e.g., cybersecurity coursework, cybersecurity project, cybersecurity working experience) in any of the following areas preferred: security operations, SW security, HW security, systems security, security architecture, network security, communication security, cryptography, etc.

    • Self-directed & motivated individual with great organizational skills

    • Full time availability

    • Good oral and written communication skills

    • Must be able to interface in a team environment
