The HGK Logistics and Intermodal division has been bundling the logistics and handling activities of the HGK Group since the beginning of 2021.

Depending on the location or business field, you may also know us as neska, Pohl, uct, dbt, RRT, KCT, DCH or CTS.

A strong network of a total of 13 subsidiary and affiliated companies offers logistics solutions for transport, handling, storage and processing of piece and bulk goods, as well as all services related to containers at 17 locations.

We are currently seeking professional support in full-time at our subsidiary
uct Umschlag Container Terminal GmbH located in
Neuss.

Your responsibilities include:

Independently managing the strategic planning and execution of transports using various modes of transportation such as truck and rail traffic
Creating transport orders and handling freight invoicing for completed trips is also part of your responsibilities
Additionally, you will assist with warehouse management for incoming and outgoing goods
As the first point of contact, you will maintain close communication with subcontractors and handle communication with drivers and warehouse personnel
Lastly, you will be responsible for documentation and proactively providing information to our customers and service providers

Requirements:

You have successfully completed a commercial apprenticeship and have several years of experience
Knowledge of the logistics industry is an advantage
You are familiar with Office applications and have basic knowledge of the English language
