Description

The Division of Nephrology at the MetroHealth System, an affiliate of Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine (CWRU), is recruiting faculty at the Assistant or Associate Professor level.

We are seeking outstanding candidates who have demonstrated records of significant accomplishment as clinical nephrologists, with aspiration for scholarly, service and/or administrative development.

The successful candidate should have an MD degree and training at reputable, ACGME-accredited internal medicine and renal fellowship programs.

Candidates will also have an opportunity to provide inpatient and outpatient care at MetroHealth Medical Center, the areas most experienced and busiest Level I trauma center.

As the Nephrology Educator for medical students, the incumbent will be responsible for overseeing the renal curriculum at CWRU School of Medicine.

Create and teach content for renal physiology and pathophysiology for first-year medical students .
Review and update content, lecture slides and text references annually .

answer questions posted on the class virtual discussion board and reply to individual e-mails from student; provide office hours as needed.

Help create annual final exam; Resources will be available to support this position in medical education and the faculty members continued development.
