Cleveland Clinic's Glickman Urological and Kidney Institute i s recognized as one of the best in the country .Join our G90 Urology Surgical Care Unit as a Registered Nurse and become a part of a supportive environment where everyone excels and is valued for what they bring to the team.
On our G90 Urology Surgical Care Unit, you will be caring for adult patients that have a variety of complex diagnoses, as well as our post-operative Urology patients.
These patients are recovering from various procedures such as radical nephrectomies and need highly specialized care that you will be equipped to give.
This is an excellent opportunity for a registered nurse to care for a diverse set of patients and gain specialized skills and experience in our nationally ranked Urology institute.
This position is available for Day/Night rotating (every 6 weeks) or Night shifts; Our nurses rotate every other weekend and every other holiday.

Provides direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures and protocols of the healthcare organization. Implements and monitors patient care plans.Monitors and documents patient's condition and effectiveness and timeliness of care and/or interventions.
Evaluates, updates and revises plan of care to facilitate achievement of planned and expected outcomes.
Serves as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
Administers prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with approved nursing protocol.
Notes and carries out physician and nursing orders.
Assesses and coordinates patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.
Provides teaching and educational material as appropriate.
Validates and documents patient and family understanding of teaching.
Maintains professional growth and development through ongoing formal and informal education and clinical nursing study.
Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing. Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
Work Experience:
Minimum one year current acute care RN experience in a hospital setting required for acute care settings.
Personal Protective Equipment:
~ Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.
