Job Description

Mission:
As a Business Development Officer specializing in various CRE lending types, your goal is to stimulate growth and establish opportunities by linking borrowers, brokers, and key influencers with the financing, resources, and assistance needed for success.

Key Results
- Achieve $30 million in new traditional CRE loans annually, ensuring a minimum of 1.00% in origination fees
- Attain $10 million in annual secondary market owner-occupied production (conventional, SBA 7(a) or 504 loans) with a minimum of 2.00% in premium fee income
- Maintain an average quarterly pipeline of $50 million with a minimum 20% pull through rate
- Expand contacts and nurture relationships to enhance referral networks
- Annually generate Net Loan / Premium Fee Income of $500,000 (Net is defined as after payment of all referral fees to outside parties)
- Achieve annual AUM growth of $20,000,000 from loan production resulting in $100,000 in servicing income

Duties and Responsibilities
- Evaluate business development initiatives by analyzing financial data, sales metrics, and performance indicators to make data-driven decisions
- Use HubSpot to manage sales pipelines, track progress, and document contacts and loan progression from lead generation to deal closure
- Collaborate with internal teams to align business development efforts with overall goals and ensure seamless execution of strategies
- Generate sales leads and foster partnerships by maintaining strong relationships with clients
- Identify and pursue business opportunities through networking and lead generation with clients and partners
- Promote products and services through various marketing channels like presentations, proposals, and events

Required Education and Experience/Skills
- Minimum 5 years of commercial real estate experience
- At least 3 years of SBA lending experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related field
- Proficiency in CRM platforms; experience with HubSpot preferred
- Strong analytical skills to interpret financial data and make recommendations effectively
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Team-oriented with a willingness to collaborate and assist colleagues
