Description

Responsibilities

  • Promote consistent policies and procedures throughout CGTech's technical staff supporting the Americas;
  • Coordinate with the Sales Director and carry out corporate initiatives;
  • Partner with Compliance department to define and implement proper handling of exportcontrolled Electronic Data;
  • Coordinate with IT and Technical Leads to define software infrastructure for Technical Staff;
  • Monitor technical bandwidth across the CGTech brand to ensure timely customer support;
  • Manage Tradeshow and Event scheduling;
  • Standard training sessions for flagship VERICUT software;
  • Manage file management through Customer Portals;
  • Schedule physical and virtual standard VERICUT training classes;
  • Coordinate Collaborative projects with sister companies and partners;
  • Oversee technical acquisitions and integration;
  • Manage satellite technical assets such as Brazil;
  • Conduct internal training for Technical Leads;
  • Conduct endofyear performance evaluations of Technical Leads and Managers;
  • Other projects as assigned.

Qualifications

Required:


  • BS in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, or relevant experience in CNC Manufacturing;
  • Experience as CGTech Technical Support Manager or Technical Support Lead position;
  • Experience and knowledge of Fanuc, Siemens and other CNC controls;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Strong collaboration and team building skills;
  • Strong management and leadership skills.

Desirable, but not required:


  • Prior managerial experience;
  • Experience with additive and subtractive processes;
  • Ability to create and/or modify Post Processors for CNC Machine Tools;
  • Experience with Composite Tape Laying processes;
  • Computer programming skills;
  • Fluent in Spanish and/or French.
