For EUROGATE Container Terminal Hamburg GmbH, we are currently looking for a temporary full-time Yard Planner (m/f/d) to start as soon as possible.

Your responsibilities:

You ensure efficient management of container storage areas, taking into account optimal space utilization with minimal personnel and equipment usage.
With a forwardthinking approach, you plan the prestacking of containers to achieve high productivity in both land and water handling.
You organize all yard activities, prioritize space assignments, and always keep regulations, such as hazardous goods separation, in mind.
You work closely with our operational interfaces, such as planning and preparation, as well as handling management.
With your experience in system and data maintenance, you actively support the setup of our terminal software and develop strategies for optimal container control. You also actively contribute to the improvement of our TOS (Terminal Operating System).
You create analyses and reports on space utilization, providing the necessary information for efficient terminal management.
You continuously contribute to the improvement of operational processes and participate in project and special tasks.

Your profile:

You have a university degree or equivalent in computer science, business informatics, mathematics, or a logisticsrelated field, such as a Bachelor's degree in Shipping and Maritime Management, Port Management, a specialist in Freight Transport and Logistics, a qualification in Maritime Transport, Nautical Science, Transport, Logistics, Shipping Management, or Industrial Engineering with a logistics focus.
