Job Description:
Provide members with Comprehensive Officer Pension System (COPS) generated loan statements to indicate available loan amounts and repayment schedule;
Initiate loan payments and arrears payments when applicable utilizing a computer database;
Calculate outstanding loan information;
Respond to written and telephone inquiries promptly and courteously, and refer inquiries to appropriate parties/follows up when necessary;
Respond to inperson inquiries accurately in a courteous and prompt manner and when appropriate, refer inquiries to other members of the agency, including all pertinent information;
Work on special projects as designated by supervisor of division.

Shift: 10:00 6:00PM

Salary:

If you possess the preferred skills above, consideration will be given to offer you a maximum annual salary of no more than $44,872.

The salary is non-negotiable.

NOTE: This is a full time on site position.

The incumbent will be required to report to the office on a regular basis.

Public Service Loan Forgiveness Residency RequirementNew York City residency is generally required within 90 days of appointment.
