Your tasks

  • Advising and supporting youth welfare organizations in the (further) development of existing network structures
  • Promoting sustainable structural development for healthy and developmentally supportive upbringing of children
  • Developing strategies to increase participation opportunities for children from disadvantaged families
  • Planning and supporting organizational and quality development processes for social services
  • Facilitating and moderating working groups and networks
  • Creating work aids and professional recommendations, newsletters, and websites
  • Organizing and conducting training and further education
  • Representing LWL in regional and national committees
Your profile

  • Completed (university) degree (diploma/bachelor) in social work/social pedagogy with state recognition
or

  • Another relevant degree with several years of relevant professional experience related to the abovementioned tasks
as well as

  • Experience in youth welfare
  • Consulting and didactic skills
  • Willingness to work independently as well as in a team
  • High interest in the professional development of the field and the personal competence to represent this externally to management and professionals in youth welfare
  • Basic knowledge of methods of empirical social research
  • Cooperation and communication skills
  • Ability to think innovatively and develop new ideas
  • Ability to write clearly and comprehensibly
  • Willingness for further training and supervision
