- Communicate with purchasing team on expected deliveries.
- Receive shipments and sign paperwork when delivered.
- Unload pallets and packages from incoming trucks and containers.
- Inspect contents to ensure they are not damaged.
- Verify packages according to order checking quantity and quality.
- Contact the appropriate person if issues are discovered.
- Responsible for coordinating return of unsatisfactory shipments or for receiving replacements.
- Label deliveries and allocate them to designated places.
- Maintain accurate records.
- Assist with inventory control by performing regular cycle counts.
- Assign storage locations and bins physically and in SAP.
- Pick parts for customer orders and production orders per schedule.
- Issue parts on SAP per instruction.
- Organize shelving and work areas.
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- Ability to work and communicate well with others, meet tight deadlines, and manage busy work schedule.
- Effectively work in an environment requiring repetitive job responsibilities.
- Ability to focus on safety and quality.
- Basic computer skills required.
- Ability to use MRP system to manage material. SAP a plus.
- Forklift operating experience preferred.
