The operator of the senior center is the AWO District Association Oberbayern e.
V. Our AWO Senior Center Wolfratshausen, with a focus on dementia, is a specialized facility exclusively for people with dementia.

In our facility, with its directly accessible garden, 69 residents are cared for, supported, and accompanied in the full-time care sector.

In addition, we offer short-term care places. In the part-time care sector, we offer day care, night care, and as a special feature, weekend care.

We work with a special care unit, which is based on gerontopsychiatric case management, the person-centered approach according to Tom Kitwood, and the biography and milieu-oriented approaches of Erwin Böhm.

Care is provided in the form of reference care according to the system models of Monika Krohwinkel. In addition, the social care team offers daily structured activities. The target group in our facility are people with moderate to severe dementia with/without challenging behavior.
