Role ResponsibilitiesThe Clinic Manager is responsible for the management of the daily operations of a mental health outpatient clinic.
This position provides leadership and oversight of the clinic operations, TCOOMMI adult and youth programs, UT Health Resident/Fellow program and Sam Houston State University medical student program.
General duties include direct supervision of the clinic staff (excluding physicians,) including completion of performance appraisals, ensuring that services are delivered to patients in a timely and effective manner, operating the clinic within the approved budget, ensuring compliance with all applicable rules, standards, laws, directives, policies, and procedures, working with local community organizations to meet their needs to the extent possible; interviewing and hiring new staff; and developing and maintaining a positive image of Texana in the local community.
Reports to the Director of Behavioral Healthcare Services and accepts additional responsibilities as requested by the Director of Behavioral Healthcare Services.
Routine hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday with flexibility to meet program needs as requested by the Clinic Manager. Responsible for the adherence to and promotion of the compliance policy.Salary
- 90% $97,886.88/year to start;
- 95% $103,325.04/year at 6 mos. with satisfactory performance
- 100% $108,763.20/year at 1 year
with satisfactory performance
- Master's degree in a related field
- LPC, LCSW, LMFT, Licensed Psychologist
- Texas driver's license in good standing as defined by Texana Center's procedure
- 3 years of experience in a mental health setting
- 3 years of supervision experience (including clinical supervision)
- Spanish speaking
- Must be able to perform SAMA and CPR.
- Must be able to perform moderate lifting and carrying (1544#), pushing, stooping, repeated bending, reaching above shoulder, simple grasping, hearing, walking, sitting and twisting.
- Must have ability to see, write, operate office equipment, operate a motor vehicle and have depth perception.
- Qualified individual must be able to perform these functions with or without reasonable accommodations.
