GridIron IT is seeking a UI/UX Developer local to Washington, DC.

Ability to obtain Public Trust Required
The User Interface/User Experience (UI/UX) Developer shall have the overall responsibility of working with the ITPMs, Product Owners, and development teams to identify opportunities to improve the user

experience of SEVIS public facing sites. The UI/UX developer shall work with the Requirements team and

scrum masters to prioritize design and development work toward enhancing the users experience with

the customer Application.

Required Skills/Experience:
Bachelor's degree with eight (8) or more years of relevant experience in an

Enterprise IT environment.

Certifications and experience must be achieved by proposal submission:

Proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
Experience with frontend web frameworks such as Bootstrap, Founda on, or materializes.
Experience with asynchronous JavaScript based frameworks such as ReactJS or Angular.
Experience with project and web asset bundlers such as Webpack, Browserify, Grunt, Gulp, or

Bower.

Experience with the distributed version control system Git.
Experience with CSS preprocessors, such as Sass and SCSS.
Experience with portable environment creation on or containerization on technologies, such as Docker,

Apache Mesos, or Vagrant.

UX Certification.
Experience in Java code development.
Possess interpersonal, collaborative, and communication skills.
Possess exceptional customer service skills.
Must show empathy and put themselves in the shoes of the user.
Experience in critical thinking and creating workflows for how the user should engage with

websites to complete a task quickly and efficiently.
