    **General Shale Marketing Team Member**

    **DESCRIPTION:**

    The General Shale marketing department is seeking a qualified marketing candidate to assist in a variety of functions to increase our brand visibility across the company and industry. The individual will help to execute our message strategy, increase brand and product awareness, and generate sales through various marketing and communications mediums such as video campaigns, digital and print advertising, graphic design, and sponsorship marketing. The qualified candidate will provide communications support to direct sales locations, distributor partners, production sites, and administrative departments to ensure we are delivering a consistent, branded message. This position provides a great opportunity to interact with key leaders in the business and develop valuable company and industry knowledge.

    **POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:**

    Provide marketing and communications support to direct sales locations and distributor partners, including occasional in-person visits

    Research, organize, and develop/copywrite content for quarterly company newsletters, internal communication bulletins, and external customer email marketing campaigns

    Assist in creative development of annual marketing initiatives including video marketing strategy, product literature, and annual project calendar

    Assist in creative development for corporate sponsorships including associated marketing collateral and on-site marketing objectives

    Collaborate and (when required) visit with outside vendors and creative agencies for meetings or exchange of marketing resources and/or materials

    Assist in creative development of location advertising, including point of purchase displays and in-store marketing

    Research, develop, and implement customer solutions for retail sales locations to promote new products and sales strategies

    Support district sales managers and sales staff in visual merchandising layouts for showrooms including sample displays and product prioritization

    Document local projects for marketing current and future initiatives

    **POSITION REQUIREMENTS:**

    Bachelor's degree in marketing (may include graphic design) or a related communications field with a minimum of two (2) years of prior experience

    Ability to work in-person and effectively in the marketing team's collaborative, fast-paced environment as well as with cross-functional teams

    Creative, detail-oriented, driven individual with the ability to meet deadlines and proven organization skills

    Excellent verbal communications skills, especially the ability to make and respond to inquiries over the phone/e-mail to and from customers, employees, and industry partners

    Ability to multi-task, prioritize and take direction on projects and execute them independently

    Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Internet-based research

    Experience with using social media and social networking tools (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.) for business purposes a plus

    **EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:**

    Experience using / familiarity with email marketing platforms/software

    Experience using / familiarity website CMS platforms

    Experience using / familiarity with graphic design/digital media software such as Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or related software
