    As a member of the

    IT Management Team , you are responsible for managing, developing, and leading a team of employees. Your role includes leading the specific functional responsibilities of your team, which involves overseeing team performance and deliverables. However, your role as a leader within our organization requires more than the management of resources and day-to-day operations.

    As a steward of the company, you are charged with the development and execution of your team's strategic vision and plan, and ensuring that your team's actions align with the larger goals of the company and the IT Division.

    The

    Manager of ServiceNow Platform

    will focus on identifying and driving methodologies and processes that support world class ServiceNow implementation.

    As a Platform Owner, the manager will ensure that the platform support team meets the Service Levels, and continually improve to meet best practices for all modules, including ITSM Pro, SPM, HAM, and CMDB/CSDM.


    The Manager of ServiceNow Platform manages the team that provides the essential platform for the business of IT at Costco.

    This role leads an Agile delivery team, with multiple product development and enablement initiatives, closely working with IT leadership and business stakeholders.


    As the primary conduit between your employees and upper leadership, your role in communicating and modeling the values and guiding principles of our company culture is of vital importance.

    Ensures proper department coverage (writing schedule and break aids if needed). Understands department budget, able to research and explain budget variances.

    Coaches and mentors employees to provide support and guidance. Has regular open and honest conversations with employees to discuss work performance and career development. Identifies learning opportunities to strengthen employee knowledge, skill and ability.

    :

    Regularly shares information with employees via meetings and one-on-one conversations. Successfully navigates difficult conversations with employees, members, and suppliers. Listens, expresses empathy and adapts to get points across. Addresses issues immediately to ensure a timely resolution and to avoid escalating the situation. Consistently demonstrates business knowledge during interactions with senior management.

    Manages the development and operations teams on the ServiceNow platform.

    Develops and maintains positive working relationships with IS and business stakeholders.


    Coaches and mentors team members responsible for interacting with all levels of management in the business and IS.


    Supports the team in the daily operations and maintenance of Costco's ServiceNow platform.


    Encourages and models a culture of continual learning and professional development by providing regular training and professional development opportunities.


    Promotes, within the team, the principles of continuous improvement, quality, and providing maximum value to the CARTS+ stakeholders.



    Sets clear performance expectations and provides thoughtful and timely coaching and feedback to ensure department, business, and company procedures and standards are met.

    Conducts yearly performance reviews.


    Assists in the continued evolution and maturity of the agile methodology used by the team.


    Partners and guides vendors to ensure proper execution of Costco strategies.


    Collaborates with all areas of IS management to cross-functional projects, resourcing, and resolution to issues.


    Partners with stakeholders to plan and execute releases of ServiceNow and other applications supported by CARTS+ team.


    Reviews applicant submissions for job postings, conducts interviews, and makes recommendations regarding hiring status.


    This is a full-time management/leadership position (45+ hours per week)

    .


    REQUIRED

    5+ years' IT experience in a Management or senior individual performer/leader role.


    Proven experience in ServiceNow ITSM, SPM, HAM, and CMDB/CSDM.


    Proven team leadership skills.


    Demonstrated experience in software delivery methodologies, including Waterfall and Agile.


    Demonstrated experience in budget and vendor/contract management.


    Responsive, able to effectively work under pressure, and lead solutions with a strong sense of urgency.


    Proven ability to speak in front of groups, and lead and facilitate meetings.


    Strong organizational skills.


    Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate and effectively engage with individuals at all levels.


    Proven ability to effectively manage priorities and timelines and achieve commitments.


    Proven experience executing strategies with cross-functional teams across a wide variety of disciplines.


    Scheduling flexibility to meet the needs of the business, including evenings, weekends, and holidays when required.

    Recommended

    Working knowledge of ITIL/COBIT concepts.


    Working knowledge of managing teams.

    Pay Range:

    $137,000 - $200,000, Bonus and Restricted Stock Unit (RSU) eligible
