Due to a retirement, we are looking to fill the full-time position of:

Department Head (m/f/d) for Road Construction and Maintenance:

(Civil Engineer):

within the Department - Roads and Canals
- to be filled as soon as possible.

The department is responsible for the planning, construction, maintenance and operation of public traffic areas and engineering structures, as well as the tasks of the road traffic authority.

_Your tasks include in particular:
_

Management and coordination of the department with a total of 14 employees,

- independent project management of larger municipal civil engineering projects, including third-party measures,
- development, implementation, updating and regular review of a local sustainability strategy for approximately 190 km of municipal roads and approximately 140 km of commercial roads,
- planning and control of annual budget resources with corresponding budget responsibility,
- representation of construction projects in public meetings and political committees, as well as representation of the department in internal and external working groups.
