About us

The Department of Electrical and Building Technology is responsible for inspecting safety systems in all types and sizes of special buildings. As part of approval procedures, we create building law evidence and expert opinions. In addition, our tasks include on-site inspections of electrical and medical equipment, as well as inspections of systems required for the sustainable use of renewable energies.

Tasks

  • As an expert, you advise clients, architects, specialist planners, and construction companies on all matters related to preventive fire protection
  • You are responsible for the ongoing inspection and ensuring the proper implementation of fire protection measures
  • Furthermore, you create fire protection evidence and concepts for special buildings, as well as precise and informative expert opinions
  • With your expertise, you are the first point of contact for our clients and use your network to expand your customer base

Qualifications

  • Degree in engineering (preferably civil engineering), architecture, safety engineering, or a comparable qualification
  • Additional qualification in preventive fire protection or recognition as a fire department expert for preventive fire protection or a comparable degree from a state fire department
