The Caritas Association Region Mönchengladbach e. V.

is a church welfare organization with over 830 full-time and around 300 volunteer employees dedicated to a variety of social tasks in the city of Mönchengladbach and its surrounding area.


We are currently seeking a full-time Bilanzbuchhalter (m/f/d) to join our accounting team at our headquarters in Central Valley, UT.

This position is for 39.0 hours per week and offers a permanent contract.


Job Description:

  • Review, classify, and book ongoing business transactions, payment runs, and bank movements, including daily operations and debt collection
  • Processing and reconciliation of accounts receivable, accounts payable, and general ledger accounts in collaboration with the respective departments, intercompany reconciliation
  • Processing of fixed assets, provisions, special items/grants, and accruals
  • Participation in the strategic development of processes in finance and accounting, as well as in the preparation of financial statements
  • Reconciliations between financial accounting and cost accounting
  • Preparation of monthly and annual financial statements according to HGB and PBV
  • Preparation of sales tax prepayments and preparation of annual tax returns
  • Trustworthy cooperation with tax consultants, auditors, and banks
  • Support of management through highquality financial information, preparation of monthly evaluations/reports
