Tasks

As a specialist for warehouse logistics, you receive goods of all kinds and check their quantity and condition based on accompanying documents. You organize the unloading of the goods, sort them and store them properly in pre-planned locations. In the outgoing goods department, you put together deliveries, pack the goods and create accompanying documents such as delivery notes or customs declarations. In addition, you operate forklifts and secure the cargo against slipping or leaking. Furthermore, specialists for warehouse logistics optimize the internal flow of information and materials from procurement to sales. You explore sources of supply, work out comparative offers, order goods and arrange for their payment.

Training process

The dual training program involves participating in both on-the-job training and classes at a vocational school. Throughout the training, classes are held part-time. You will have one day of school and two days of work each week. The rest of the time, you will be gaining practical experience with us in the company. If your academic and practical performance allows, the training period can be shortened.

During your training, you will be assigned to various departments at psb, including the goods receiving and dispatch department as well as the warehouse.

After training

After completing your training, you can work as a specialist for warehouse logistics at psb in both the warehouse and the goods receiving and dispatch department.
