Founded as a college for women by the Religious Sisters of Mercy, Misericordia University (MU) is located on a 127-acre campus in Dallas, Pennsylvania, and a satellite campus in Pittsburg.
Misericordia University is a small, comprehensive institution with a strong commitment to liberal arts education.The University lives a mission which seeks to cultivate a transformational educational experience that promotes intellectual curiosity and critical thinking in its students while supporting them in achieving a life of purpose.
Misericordia gained university status in 2007 and has grown to encompass three Colleges - the College of Arts and Sciences, the College of Business, and the College of Health Sciences and Education.
