Community Nursery School seeks dynamic, loving and committed to join our team of educators - one for our morning program and one for our afternoon program - in September of 2024.

CNS is a Reggio-inspired, community-based cooperative preschool located in Lexington, MA.

• These are part time coteaching positions to begin for the school year (Sept '2 early June '25)

morning program position are 8:00am - 12:30pm

afternoon program position are 11:30am -3:30pm

• These positions include a competitive salary with paid time off as well as opportunities for professional development.
• EEC Preschool Teacher Certification (or background in education and/or a willingness to pursue certification).
• Genuine love for and interest in the work of young children.
• Familiarity with Reggioinspired, inquirybased early education approach.
• A solid knowledge of child development and processoriented, playbased learning.
• The ability to create an inspiring and engaging learning environment where children experience joy and a sense of wonder, both inside our beautiful building and on our expansive outdoor grounds.
• The capacity to create warm, nurturing and professional relationships with children, families and fellow educators. The ability to interact collaboratively with colleagues and families.
• A commitment to celebrating cultural diversity and respect for diverse learners.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to work both cooperatively and independently on a coteaching team.

• Applicants must clear a full background check (CORI, SORI, fingerprinting), and have documentation of a current physical exam, & CPR/First Aid Certification (or commitment to taking the course for which CNS will pay).

Compensation:

• Commensurate with experience
