Pathway Homes is a private, nonprofit striving to end homelessness by providing housing and services for adults with mental illness and other co-occurring disorders in Northern Virginia.

We are opening an Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) Team that will be based in the Reston/Herndon areas of Fairfax County.


An ACT program is an interdisciplinary team that provides wrap around services 7 days per week to individuals in their homes and in the community.

The goal of program is to decrease the utilization of ERs, in-patient hospitalizations and involvement with the legal system, by supporting individuals in developing effective healthy living skills.


We are seeking an Administrative Assistant to support the team. The specific job title till be "Health & Human Services Assistant"

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

< Supports the team and clients by facilitating the programs day to day administrative operations.

< Monitors and coordinates the team's daily schedules, acting as a liaison between clients, stakeholder and staff, and actively participating in the daily team meeting to support operations.

< Receives and routes telephone calls; provides general information on programs and services to callers.

< Monitors, greets and directs the flow of visitors into the office.

< Types reports, correspondence, program materials, budget, statistical data, and similar data as requested/needed.

< Enters and/or updates data in electronic health record system as assigned.

< Receives and routes office mail.

< Uses photocopying and duplicating equipment to reproduce materials.

< Organizes packets, reports and various mailings.

< Maintains inventory of office supplies and coordinates with supervisor in ordering.

< Responsible for coordination of receipt of deliveries.


Job Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent. At least one (1) year experience in administrative functions
. Experience with Office 365. Accurate word processing and data entry skills. Experience in maintaining inventories and setting up excel spreadsheets. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Must have valid drivers license and reliable vehicle. Must be able to pass a drivers record check and a criminal background check.


Pay:
$45,552.00 per year
