Job Summary:
Responsibilities:
- Implement and maintain efficient systems and processes to ensure smooth operation of the medical office
- Manage medical records, ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance with regulatory requirements
- Provide medical administrative support, including scheduling appointments, managing patient inquiries, and coordinating referrals
- Supervise and train office staff, ensuring highquality customer service and adherence to policies and procedures
- Oversee fiscal management, including budgeting, billing, and financial reporting
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient care delivery
- Stay uptodate with industry trends and best practices in healthcare management
- Maintain knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
- Ensure compliance with all relevant healthcare regulations and standards
- Utilize electronic health record systems (Eaglesoft) effectively
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Management or related field (preferred)
- Proven experience as a Medical Office Manager or similar role
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
- Familiarity with hospital operations and healthcare regulations
- Proficient in using electronic health record systems (practice fusion)
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
