Compensation:

$65,000 - $91,000 yearly


Responsibilities:


  • Identify and reach out to potential clients through various channels to generate leads for insurance products and services.
  • Conduct consultations with potential clients to understand their insurance needs, provide information about available products, and recommend suitable coverage options.
  • Deliver compelling presentations to showcase the benefits and features of insurance plans, addressing client questions and concerns.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with clients by offering personalized solutions, maintaining regular communication, and providing excellent customer service.
  • Strive to meet or exceed established sales targets and quotas, contributing to the overall success of the sales team.
  • Continuously enhance understanding of New York Life's insurance offerings, staying informed about industry trends and changes.
  • Engage in networking events, workshops, and community activities to expand your client base and enhance your sales skills.
  • Participate in training programs and workshops provided by New York Life to improve sales techniques, product knowledge, and customer relationship skills.
  • Adhere to company policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards while conducting sales activities.

Qualifications:


  • Obtaining the necessary licenses to sell insurance products is a requirement. This includes completing prelicensing courses and passing state insurance exams. New York Life provides support and resources to help you obtain the required licenses.
  • Sales and customer service skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential to effectively engage with clients, understand their needs, and present suitable solutions. Previous sales or customer service experience can be advantageous.
  • Professionalism and integrity: Demonstrating professionalism, ethical conduct, and maintaining client confidentiality are critical aspects of the role.
  • Motivation and drive: Entrylevel sales agents should have a strong work ethic, selfmotivation, and the ability to work independently while achieving sales targets and goals.
