Position Summary:

The Wireline Field Engineer will be asked to supervise the daily operations of a wireline unit both in the shop and in the field and provide staff leadership for a wireline crew.

The Wireline Field Engineer is directly responsible for the safe operation, maintenance, and record keeping for their assigned vehicles, tools, and equipment.

Key Roles / Responsibilities:
Supervising pre-job preparation and load outs.
Ensures all Pre and Post job vehicle and equipment inspections and associated paperwork and/or reports are completed by crew.
Directs crew on rigging-up and rigging-down equipment at the well site.
Directs the assembling of perforating guns and well logging equipment at job site.
Maintains DOT records and communications as required by FMCSA.
Completes job-related paperwork and other records for self and assigned crew.
Promotes and maintains good customer relations.
Receives instructions on routine work and detailed instructions on well site activity.
Performs basic duties at the well site and at the shop.
Drives company vehicles in a safe manner while observing Company and government regulations.
Supervises and trains Operators while maintaining a high level of safety awareness at the well site.
Performs other related duties as required.

Required Education, Experience, and Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent education.
Class A or B CDL or ability to obtain within 90 days of employment.
Hold a clean driving record and the ability to pass a Federal background check.
Basic reading comprehension and writing skills are required.
Basic computer skills are preferred.
Promotes safety awareness and ensures compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) regulations and guidelines.
Strong mechanical aptitude.
Ability to work and communicate well with customers and employees.
Must be reachable via telephone 24 hours a day when in an "on call" status. Must report to work within 30 minutes of notification and work at well sites for extended periods of time.

Working Conditions:

Bending, lifting, climbing, pushing, pulling, kneeling, sitting, walking, kneeling, stooping, squatting, crouching, crawling, talking, hearing, seeing, and standing (occasionally) for long periods of time.

Must demonstrate manual dexterity and be able to use hands to handle or feel objects or tools.
The essential duties of this position require moderate to heavy lifting.

Exerting up to 100 pounds of force- Occasionally, up to 50 pounds of force- Frequently, up to 20 pounds of force- Constantly moving objects.

Able to work under stressful conditions at times.
