Position Overview:
Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of hardware, firmware, and software solutions for Qualcomm and Nvidia-based ARM devices running Windows on ARM.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including hardware engineers, firmware developers, and software engineers to define system architecture and specifications.
- Conduct research and analysis to identify optimization opportunities and performance enhancements across hardware, firmware, and software layers.
- Architect firmware and device drivers to ensure compatibility, stability, and performance on ARM-based platforms.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous learning.
- Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies in ARM-based computing, contributing insights and recommendations for future development.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field. Advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in hardware, firmware, and software engineering, with a focus on ARM-based platforms.
- Strong proficiency in C/C++, Python, and assembly language programming for ARM architecture.
- Extensive knowledge of hardware design principles, including SoC architecture, memory subsystems, and peripheral interfaces.
- Experience developing firmware and device drivers for ARM-based systems, including familiarity with UEFI and ACPI standards.
- Proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects on schedule and within budget.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
