Qualifications:
THE OPPORTUNITY:
The Healthcare Data Analyst position involves writing queries, analysis of healthcare data, with an emphasis on working with the technical operation team to create requirements and support BI reporting capabilities.
WHAT YOU CAN LOOK FORWARD TO:
- Produce, analyze, and maintain reports to measure, track, and manage program measures
- Analyze inbound health care data including claims, ADT HL7, and eligibility and and assess quality and consistency
- Assist in designing, programming, testing, and standardizing processes and reports for auditing and verification of data source
- Create business requirements to support new client/product implementations
- Support product quality assurance
- Present analytic findings to multiple audiences
- Research and support adoption and utilization of emerging technologies for data analysis
- Implement analytic directives from senior staff
WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
- Bachelor's degree in data analytics, economics, statistics, public health, or a comparable program with a quantitative emphasis. Master's degree preferred.
- 13 years relevant industry experience
- Competency in data manipulation, analysis, and report presentation
- Working knowledge of healthcare data including medical claims, pharmacy claims, and eligibility
- Work or education experience with a focus on population or public health
- 1 + years professional or graduate level experience using statistical software
- Must be analytical, detail oriented, and a problem solver
- Strong desire to expand technical and industry skill sets
- Excellent Excel and database skills
- Experience with T-SQL, Python, and BI reporting tools a plus
- Team player both within and across teams
