The Opportunity:


We are seeking a passionate and driven individual who will design and deliver innovative Learning and Development (L&D), Performance and Career Management, and Organizational Development solutions to support a Talent Management strategy focused on ensuring a high-engagement and high performing culture.

The Talent Manager will provide a range of services with a focus on leadership and professional development, succession planning, performance management, DEI&B initiatives, metrics and employee engagement.


What You'll Do:


  • Improve organizational effectiveness and strengthen the talent pipeline by executing crucial talent management practices such as performance management, talent assessments, succession planning, career management, and development planning
  • Partner with HR and business leaders to develop and implement programs to meet Company needs including skill and knowledge development to enhance performance; identifying top talent and high potential employees to accelerate leadership development; and preparing employees for roles of greater responsibility
  • Provide thought partnership and consultation to business leaders, HRBP's and the Talent Acquisition team in development of strategic talent plans, including DEI&B initiatives
  • Lead the development of creative strategies to foster and measure diversity goals
  • Participate in identifying, modifying, and implementing metrics to effectively measure, benchmark and monitor the impact of all programs and initiatives related to L&D, recruitment and hiring practices
  • Build and maintain effective working relationships with vendor partners in support of bestinclass, costeffective, enterprisewide development solutions
  • Produce training materials; design, coordinate, administer and deliver companywide L&D solutions
  • Participate in the regular assessment and measurement of L&D and performance management needs, programs, and solutions to ensure best practices are applied, continuously improved, and relevance to the needs of a fastpaced and competitive business
  • Administer the annual employee engagement survey and support efforts in analyzing and presenting data, collaborating with HR and business leaders to create actionable insights for leaders to improve business results, and utilizing a variety of surveys
  • Spearhead other corporate projects and initiatives as necessary
  • Other duties as assigned

What You Need:


  • Bachelor's degree; HR Certification (PHR, SPHR, GPHR), a plus
  • 5+ years in a Talent Development, Organization Development, Learning and Development, or Human Resources Business Partner role for a large organization
  • Experience developing and executing a strategic Talent Management plan including LMS management
  • Experience with Paylocity, Articulate 360, Qualtrics XM, Ken Blanchard Companies, Wiley, and Absorb LMS, and DiSC facilitation area strong plus
  • Strong project management and change management skills. Ability to work under tight deadlines; plan, organize and carry out multiple, detailed tasks with limited supervision
  • Proven ability and knowledge of content development including needsbased curriculum design, program planning, third party supplier sourcing and vendor management, program delivery and evaluation, including measurement of learning impact
  • Experience with planning, creating, and implementing L&D programs for a large organization with measured success
  • Must have excellent presentation and communication skills both verbal and written including the ability to lead and facilitate discussions
  • Proven ability to coach, develop and manage a team of direct reports as well as coaching those in leadership roles as needed
  • Selfmotivated, assertive, detailoriented, and dependable individual who takes a highly collaborative team approach to providing ontarget solutions
  • Excellent leadership, influence, and communication skills

Physical Requirements:


  • Talk, hear, and see (including close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus)
  • Performs light to medium work exerting up to 25 pounds of force occasionally or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects
  • This is largely a sedentary role; however, some filing is required. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand as necessary

Working Conditions:


  • This role requires fulltime, inoffice attendance. Travel to locations within the Houston and surrounding areas may be required on an asneeded basis to support Company initiatives
  • This role operates in a professional office environment and routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets
