    Job Summary:

    Cole Engineering Services is a prominent company that specializes in providing top-tier engineering solutions for the defense sector. Currently, we are in search of a highly motivated Field Service Representative to become part of our expanding team. As a Field Service Representative, you will play a vital role in aiding the development, upkeep, and implementation of a cutting-edge simulation and training capability for the United States Army.


    Essential Job Functions:

    • Troubleshoot, resolve, and document technical issues promptly
    • Conduct essential maintenance and offer technical support across the RVCT program
    • Collaborate with engineers to identify challenges and devise effective solutions
    • Influence RVCT Product Support considerations by documenting maintenance tasks and gathering Reliability, Availability, and Maintainability (RAM) data
    • Provide input for New Equipment Training (NET) course development
    • Assist in RVCT Test and Evaluation events by preparing and operating RVCT hardware
    • Maintain well-organized documentation and accurately record maintenance actions in JIRA
    • Oversee PMCS schedule and execution
    • Manage training schedules and the training of new and existing FSRs
    • Responsible for the assembly, disassembly, and reconfiguration of RVCT devices
    • Utilize basic hand tools and diagnostic equipment
    • Ability to frequently lift and/or move items weighing up to 50 pounds
    • Travel requirements ranging from 10% to 25%

    Required Skills:

    • 5-10 years of hands-on experience with AVCATT & RVCT systems
    • Solid grasp of technical/CPU hardware
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
    • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

    Knowledge in any of the following areas would be considered a plus:

    • Bachelor's degree in engineering, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
    • Background in a technical military environment
    • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and collaboration tools such as JIRA and Confluence
    • Direct involvement in fielding, logistics, or technical deployment of military systems
    • Preferred certifications in Security +, Network +, and/or A+

    Other Requirements:

    It is essential to note that due to the nature of a government contract, this specific role mandates U. S. Citizenship status with the ability to acquire a SECRET to TOP SECRET security clearance. The exact Security Clearance prerequisites will be outlined in the Government's Task Order.
