Description

Dual Study Program Embedded Systems (m/f/d), Bachelor of Science: General Engineering- Without Embedded Systems, real-time applications would not be possible - neither in small smart devices nor in large autonomous vehicles. Whenever a computer system consisting of hardware and software components is "embedded" in a comprehensive technical product, we are dealing with this cross-sectional technology. For the development of Embedded Systems, a variety of knowledge domains are relevant, including primarily electrical engineering and computer science, but also other technical disciplines such as (micro) mechanics and safety engineering, as well as business and social science topics.

  • These requirements make the Dual Study Program Embedded Systems an exciting interdisciplinary course of study, characterized by the systems engineering approach: The system is at the center. This is reflected in an interdisciplinary and projectoriented teaching concept.
