Description

• Provide information, education, advice, navigational services to clients on how to successfully utilize health insurance.
• Provide intake, screening and enrollment of clients to the FE-ABD program
• Develop remedies that address consumer health coverage needs, dental coverage, billing and other areas of underinsurance.
• Respond to live calls from clients, family members or providers on SACSS' Helpline.
• Provide health insurance enrollment services, as needed.
• Maintain thorough case records of services provided, advice and/or referrals.
• Other responsibilities identified by Supervisor.

• Bachelors degree in public health or related field required, Masters preferred
• Knowledge of a South Asian language is preferable
• Minimum two years of experience or knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, Aged/Blind/Disabled (FE-ABD) enrollment and/or public health issues is preferred
• Prior experience in working with South Asian or other immigrants is preferred
• Should be able to work as a member of a team, and to work independently
