Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for operating machine tools to produce precision metal parts. Produces small batches or large quantities of metal parts. Ensures products meet precise specifications.

Operates machine tools such as manual punch presses, press brakes, air benders, shearing and material feeders to produce metal parts.

Reviews ERP work orders for job specifications, determine how fast or slow workpiece is fed into machine. Select tools and materials for the job, sets up die according to ERP work order. Pulls required materials in ERP work order. Loads materials into the feeder. Monitors and controls feed rate and speed. Ensures die is properly lubricated and/or cooled. Detects problems by spot sampling finished parts to monitor the accuracy of cuts. Pulls dull dies for sharpening if parts develop a burr. Checks accuracy of work against ERP specifications. Uses manual machinery. Takes parts to QC for 1st article inspection. Make necessary adjustments if needed. Starts and stops operation steps on ERP as required. Process scrap material.

Language skill:
English is highly desirable.


Pay:
$ $21.00 per hour

No less than 40 per week
