We are currently seeking a meticulous and organized Material Handler to join our dynamic team.As a Material Handler, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth flow of materials and supplies within our operation.
Your attention to detail and ability to manage inventory efficiently will directly contribute to our ability to deliver exceptional service to our clients.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and properly store incoming materials and supplies.
- Maintain accurate inventory records through regular cycle counts and audits.
- Coordinate with procurement team to ensure timely ordering and delivery of necessary materials.
- Prepare materials for job sites according to project specifications and requirements.
- Safely operate material handling equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize warehouse organization and workflow.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a secure working environment.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or materials handling role preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and operate material handling equipment safely.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Familiarity with plumbing materials and supplies is a plus.
Pay:
$ $34.20 per hour
