- Travel to customer sites to visit customers, build good business relationships, and to generally promote all products and services offered by Southwest Electric.
- Solicit business opportunities that fit the strategic goals and objectives as defined by Company management.
- Review customer specifications to determine whether certain business opportunities are within our capabilities.
- Review and or create proposals and quotations for products and services according to pricing policies established by Company management.
- Identify market potential and orders potential within an assigned region or market.
- Prospect potential customer base to build awareness of Company offers and build opportunity funnel.
- Provide expertise and to recommend strategies consistent with the Company business plan.
- Participate in commercial and promotional activities including, but not limited to, attending trade shows and conventions, making presentations to customers, and developing commercial material to promote the Company.
- Lead the effort to resolve commercial disputes within assigned customer base.
- Provide commercial support and facilitate technical and project support to customers.
- Assist as necessary in the process of resolving payment disputes with customers.
- Four-year degree from accredited institution or equivalent experience. A technical degree is highly desirable. 5 years or more relevant industry experience in sales.
- Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and within the future.

Manages regional and/or target customer accounts primarily for the purpose of building and maintaining an on-going business relationship that is mutually beneficial to both the customer and to Southwest Electric, covering the Central Region (Southern MO, Eastern AR, West TN, LA & MS)
