Responsibilities
Lead Design Engineering, Tooling Development, and New Technology/Materials Development.
Drive cross-functional teams for process improvement using Continuous Improvement, Lean Manufacturing, and Six Sigma techniques.
Collaborate with Sales and R&D for successful new product launches.
Develop and maintain high-quality idea-to-launch processes.
Provide technical leadership in product development, implementing Design for Manufacturability standards.
Continuously improve manufacturing methods and technologies.
Build internal and external customer relationships.
Develop and execute strategic plans aligned with company visions.
Evaluate and execute Capital needs per Strategic Plan.
Support and maintain the Quality Management System.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in relevant Engineering field; Master's preferred.
5+ years of custom profile extrusion experience and tooling design with increasing responsibility.
5+ years of supervisory experience.
Thermoplastic materials technology development experience.
Extrusion Tool & Die experience.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organization, decision-making, and conflict management skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CAD/CAM programs (e.g., SolidWorks).
