- Handles phone calls and messages efficiently
- Prepares charts for admissions, transfers, and discharges
- Coordinates appointments for procedures and outpatient visits
- Manages order entry and modification tasks
- Responsible for maintaining patient logs and collecting care-related data
- Ensures availability of necessary supplies and equipment for unit operations
- Executes patient medical claim data accurately for billing purposes
- Performs charge capture and reconciliation processes
- Maintains proficiency in relevant software systems and reporting
- Follows department-specific processes and timelines as per guidelines
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Training in Order Entry computer system
- Completion of Clerk orientation
- Proficiency in basic computer skills
