PVL Technologist - Full-time - 40 hours - Rotating Shifts - Requires Availability on Weekends, Holidays, and On-call

Purpose:

• Perform noninvasive Peripheral Vascular studies, such as arterial and venous duplex imaging, arterial testing, abdominal duplex imaging, extracranial duplex imaging, and other vascular tests on adolescent, geriatric, and adult patients within 6 months to 1 year of starting date.

Responsibilities:

• Demonstrate knowledge of Doppler and Ultrasound physics during vascular exams.
• Provide information to patients and their families during testing.
• Enter and maintain data accurately, participate in training new technologists and students, and engage in continuing education.
• Support staff to ensure competency in all vascular diagnostic services.
• Obtain detailed patient history, troubleshoot equipment issues, and assist in completing tasks.
• Prioritize patient care and safety in the department.
• Obtain and analyze tracing, spectral analyses, and waveforms for vascular tests.
• Complete all studies in the Peripheral Vascular lab within twelve months of starting.

Requirements:

• Completion of formal training in an accredited Vascular Technology or Ultrasound program or possession of RVT or equivalent credential.
• Registered or registry-eligible with preference for obtaining registry within 12 months of graduation. CPR or BLS certification required. Clearances as per business unit requirements.
