Description
:The Assembly (2nd Shift) is primarily responsible for sub-assembling smaller parts. This includes reviewing the work order to ensure material availability.
Essential Job Responsibilities not limited to:
- Review picking sheet
- Confirms if pick from stock or make from a job
- Locate job and compare with picking sheet
- Review drawings for part assembly (if available)
- Gather materials to assemble parts
- Assemble parts
- Review picking sheet
- Inspect parts for final assembly
- Sign off on production and picking sheet

- Ability to work in an environment that produces excellent quality and quantity work
- Ability to organize and prioritize jobs
- Ability to communicate clearly and comprehensively
Working Conditions/Physical Requirements
- Able to stand for long periods of time
- Able to lift, push, and pull 25 pounds unassisted
Requirements:
Minimum Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED
- Shop experience in assembly and reading shop prints
- Familiar with power tools and hand tools, loctite glue, and paper cutter
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
- Ability to read and interpret shop drawings
- Basic math knowledge which includes the use of measuring tools
Work Environment
- Typical machine shop environment.
- Willing and able to work additional hours as needed
