Job Description:

The Audit Director, responsible for overseeing audit activities within US Treasury & Balance Sheet Management (TBSM), leads diverse teams in managing the audit function effectively.

Depth & Scope:

Provides leadership in people management, talent acquisition, goal setting, staff development, and performance management
Designs, plans, and executes the Audit Plan for US TBSM
Contributes to fostering a strong control culture within the Division
Focuses on enterprise compliance rather than just local requirements
Builds and maintains relationships with key stakeholders
Ensures the team is appropriately skilled and supplements with SMEs when needed
Fosters a positive work environment to attract, develop, and retain top talent in the audit sector
Develops a risk-based Audit Plan and ensures its timely execution
Maintains work quality according to division standards
Identifies significant control gaps in audited areas
Provides detailed and timely reporting on key control issues
Manages financial budget in alignment with the plan and risk considerations

Education & Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Business/Accounting/Financial Management (accounting designation preferred but not mandatory)
12+ years of relevant industry and/or audit experience
Strong understanding of Capital Markets and Treasury Balance Sheet Management
Deep knowledge of Corporate Treasury functions including Liquidity Risk and Interest Rate Risk management
Expertise in Liquidity risk management and related areas such as Internal Liquidity Stress Testing, Liquidity Coverage Ratio, and Cash Management
Proficiency in Asset Liability management including Net Interest Income calculation and management
Familiarity with relevant Regulatory requirements
Proven ability in coaching and managing diverse professionals
Excellent analytical, communication, and project management skills
Strong decision-making capabilities and results-driven approach
Track record of effectively communicating results to various management levels
