Folsom, El Dorado Hills

Jun and July 2024 9am to 12noon or 1pm to 4pm_
Also can be extended after summer. From Aug pm to 7pm on weekdays. _

Falkon Academy is looking for teachers, coaches, college students and high school students who are interested in teaching young kids (ages 8-14) following activities: The qualifications include interest in teaching Robotics, Aeronautics, Math and Science related Subjects.

Some of the systems we use are: VEX and LEGO Kits, RC Air planes

Join us in inspiring these students and build a great future for yourself
We will be running Summer and Fall and Spring programs at multiple locations, including Folsom and El Dorado Hills.

We will train you to:

Interact with young tech genius kids.
Teach Engineering Research through play.
Design Robots
Code Drones
Success at Robotics Competitions.
Aeronautics - RC Airplanes

COMPANY DESCRIPTION:Falkon partners with community-based organizations to provide youth the opportunity to enrich their engineering skills by participating in safe, positive and fun programs and camps.

JOB DESCRIPTION: Falkon participants range from age 8 to 15. Each programs' coach will work together to prepare and execute a schedule full of fun, skill
- based activities for our participants.

JOB REQUIREMENTS: Falkon is looking for Engineering-oriented individuals who are highly-motivated, energetic people that enjoy working with children. Applicants must have a minimum 3.0 GPA, High school/varsity level experience and inclination to engineering. Previous exposure to coding is beneficial, reliable transportation, and willingness to travel within the Sacramento area. Staff must be at least 15 years old by first work day or have a valid worker's permit.

PROGRAM FORMAT/HOURS: Your working hours is usually

Summer June/July from 9am to 12pm OR 1pm to 4pm.
4pm to 6pm on Weekdays (Monday to Friday) from August to March.
There is some flexibility in hours you like to work.

Up to $23.00 per hour
