Summary:
Responsibilities:
Accounting/Financial Management
- Lead and own all accounting operations:
- Maintenance and reconciliation of all subledgers (i.e., A/R, Inventory, A/P)
- Manage the Company's accounting for inventory including monitor transactions, update perpetual/general ledgers, gather and analyze data, as well as, identifying any inconsistencies and discrepancies
- Revenue recognition for tooling related operations
- Ensure that the right processes, structures, and level of reporting are in place to efficiently lead and oversee finance operations including processes and financial policies
- Lead cost accounting automation initiatives, analyze data to determine the costs of business activities including component purchases, manufacturing expenses, capital equipment expenses, labor and overhead
- Drive improvements in the Standard Costing system and proactively facilitate review of results and work with business team leadership to build additional reporting as required
- Complete and analyze financial statements/reports in an accurate and timely manner in accordance with Company financial policies and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- Responsible for the preparation of annual operating plan and capital budgets, in conjunction with other members of the Executive Team, in addition to monthly monitoring of budget vs. actual
- Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting
- Maintain a robust contracts management and financial management/reporting system
- Lead yearend close processes, including external audit relationships
- Manage banking relationships, cash flow projections and planning
- Manage Risk and Insurance programs of the Company
- Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings
- Track and effectively communicate applicable financial performance information to all levels of company management
- Provide training, leadership and mentorship to existing accounting staff
- Effectively collaborate with internal stakeholders
- Maintain Board of Directors financial slide presentations
- Effectively communicate and present the critical financial performance and issues to the Board of Directors
Human Resources and Administration
- Oversee HR functions including but not limited to: Payroll and Payroll related activities, 401k administration, State Regulatory Compliance, Labor Reviews, etc.
- Ensure all necessary business policies are updated and implemented properly
- Ensure that recruiting processes are consistent and streamlined
- Ensure a comprehensive employee training program for all levels is established and managed properly
Qualifications:
- Minimum of a BA with a CPA license
- At least seven to ten years of overall professional experience; ideally including fourplus years of management experience in manufacturing setting
- Experience of final responsibility for the quality and content of all financial data, reporting and audit coordination for the Company
- Ability to translate financial concepts into action plans for colleagues who do not have finance backgrounds
- A successful track record in setting goals; keen analytic, organization and problem solving skills which support and enable sound decision making
- Excellent communication and relationship building skills with an ability to prioritize multiple tasks
- Fluent understanding of accounting and business software including ERP platforms; ideally including IQMS
Pay:
$135, $175,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
