    About the Job:


    We are looking for a Field Services Technician to join our team. As a Field Services Technician, you will be responsible for providing operational support to end users by handling the installation, configuration, upgrades, and maintenance of workstation and peripheral equipment.

    This role involves resolving reported issues, implementing new functionality, and ensuring compliance with organizational policies and standards. Your main focus will be to deliver high-quality and cost-effective solutions to users at all levels, supporting both technology and processes.


    Responsibilities:
    • Problem Solving – Assess, diagnose, and resolve basic configuration and hardware problems efficiently.
    • Workstation Software – Install, configure, and maintain operating system software on client workstations.
    • Workstation Hardware – Install, configure, and maintain hardware for client workstations.
    • LAN Administration - Stop and restart services, shutdown and restart operating system software on servers.
    • Network Administration - Telnets to local LAN switches and Hubs, activate ports for workstations and printers.
    • Telecom – Assist in the support and maintenance of telecommunication systems.
    • Desktop Hardware and Software – Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software.
    • Inventory Management – Track and document hardware and software inventory.
    • Standards – Install, configure, and maintain workstation and peripheral procedures and documentation.
    • Policies and Procedures – Follow established departmental policies, procedures, and standards.
    • Vendor Management – Contact vendors regarding service issues as instructed by the supervisor.
    • Documentation – Produce and maintain technical documentation on assigned systems.
    • Reporting – Produce departmental reporting associated with projects and help desk issues.
    • Project Management - Execute priorities, answer technical questions, and serve as a resource to the project team.
    • Teamwork – Demonstrate good teamwork on assigned projects.
    • Customer Service - Provide effective Customer Service by being courteous, polite, and friendly.
    • Other – Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.

    Requirements:
    High School Diploma0 - 1 years of experience
