Description

To strengthen our team of infrastructure services, we are looking for a Head of Facility Services (Job-ID: V) at our location in Cologne as soon as possible. As part of the building services department, we ensure that the conditions for a secure and clean working environment at WDR locations are met. In addition, we handle all postal and freight logistics. As the Group Leader of "Infrastructure Services", you will be responsible for the security services and access systems, as well as cleaning and waste management, together with your team of around 20 employees spread across two teams.

YOUR TASKS

  • As Group Leader, you will take on the professional and disciplinary leadership of your employees, as well as representing the department head.
  • Through internal coordination and the management of external service providers, you ensure the professional implementation of the group's tasks.
  • You are responsible for creating concepts, reports, and templates such as budget and budget planning, as well as cost and self-calculations for services.
  • You are also responsible for creating performance specifications and price sheets, as well as evaluating offers (including within the framework of EU-wide tenders).
  • You review existing performance descriptions and the level of digitization and further develop them in order to achieve satisfactory service quality under changing economic conditions.
