We're seeking a General Manager, Leisure - Head of Supplier Relations & Partnerships, Americas to join our growing team.

This role will be the face of the Ovation Network for the Americas, responsible for supplier relations, partnerships and management of our luxury Independent Agents.

What You'll Do:

  • Partner with leisure suppliers and Independent Agents to grow and strengthen the Ovation Network
  • Improve the IA experience and Ovation culture
  • Partner with key suppliers to benefit the Ovation Network and Independent Agents
  • Optimize the value of the ON and deliver improved value to the IA community
  • Lead the IA relationships and build strong partnerships
  • Build new relationships and strengthen existing ones
  • Help in identification of new technology, services and solutions that optimize the Ovation Network

Partner with Independent Agents daily on:

  • Supplier queries
  • Coordination across IA challenges and questions
  • Identification on areas of opportunity
  • Facilitate attracting new business and premium IAs
  • Independent Agent Portal assist with overall content and areas of opportunity
  • Liaison between Independent Agents and accounting/finance and Operations/IT
Work with Supplier partners on behalf of the Ovation Network to:

  • Maintain relationships with Virtuoso
  • Optimize the partnership
  • Represent and attend key supplier meetings
  • Create a community of Independent Agents with Virtuoso engagement
  • Review supplier contracts, negotiate to improve incentives and commission programs
  • Assist with the Elite hotel programs to ensure Independent Agents are fully aware of their value proposition and arrange ongoing training sessions for each program.
  • Assist in coordinating supplier meetings internal & external
  • Identify new suppliers that fit the luxury portfolio
  • Identify opportunities and supervise coordination of Fam trips
  • Drive IA and Supplier engagement and sense of community
  • Drive Ovation Network IA recognition program
  • Represent the Ovation Network on industry (i.e. hotels, partners, etc.) boards
  • New opportunities & identification of new sources of value:
  • New travel tools
  • New travel programs to bring to the Ovation IA platform
  • New revenue streams
  • Work in partnership with legal and compliance colleagues to ensure appropriate controls are in place and compliance and data privacy requirements are met

What We're Looking For:

  • 10+ years of leisure travel experience with proven track record to deliver connected customer experiences, positive relationships and communications
  • Positive relationship management and supplier relation skills
  • Transformational, creative mind, able to articulate a strategy, bring it to life and deliver with excellence
  • Excellent understanding of data and analytics and how this is used to power our IA and partner relationships
  • Demonstrate strong people leadership skills, encourage, empower and lead a team
  • Identify and attract strong talent to our organization
  • Drive collaboration and communication across the organization and influence at every level
  • Instigate and drive positive change, leading multifunctional teams through transformation supporting them to operate effectively through periods of change
  • Effective senior partner management and able to operate across matrix organizations
  • Openminded, excitement to try new tactics, and perseverance to see projects to completion
  • International experience and working with remote teams and time zones is a plus
  • Proven experience of delivering results in highly commercial environment
