    Description

    We are seeking an energetic and motivated individual to join our team as a Barback. As a Barback, you will play a vital role in supporting our bartenders and ensuring smooth operations in the bar area. Your primary responsibility will be to assist with the setup, maintenance, and cleanliness of the bar, enabling our bartenders to deliver exceptional service to our customers.

    Responsibilities:

    • Assist bartenders in preparing and organizing the bar area before and during service.
    • Stock the bar with supplies, such as ice, glassware, beer and wine.
    • Ensure that the bar is clean, sanitized, and well-stocked throughout the shift.
    • Collect empty glasses, bottles, and other barware from tables and counters.
    • Wash, dry, and polish glassware and utensils using appropriate cleaning methods.
    • Retrieve and restock bottles, kegs, and other beverages from the storage areas.
    • Dispose of trash and recycling properly, maintaining cleanliness in work areas.
    • Assist in maintaining inventory levels by conducting regular stock checks and reporting shortages.
    • Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe and hygienic work environment.
    • Provide exceptional customer service by promptly attending to customer requests and needs.

    Requirements:

    • Prior experience as a barback or in a similar role is preferred but not required.
    • Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects, stand for extended periods, and work in a fast-paced environment.
    • Excellent teamwork and communication skills to collaborate effectively with bartenders and other staff members.
    • Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask efficiently.
    • Knowledge of basic bar operations, including menu knowledge, glassware, and bar equipment, is a plus.
    • Ability to maintain a professional and positive attitude, even during busy and demanding shifts.
    • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.
