Responsibilities:

Material Handling: Safely load, unload, and move heavy flooring materials such as tiles, carpets, hardwood, and laminate within the warehouse using appropriate equipment and techniques.

Inventory Management: Organize and maintain accurate inventory records, ensuring that products are properly labeled, shelved, and easily accessible for quick retrieval.

Order Fulfillment: Prepare and package customer orders with precision and care, ensuring accurate product selection and proper packaging to prevent damage during transit.

Delivery: Assist in the delivery of flooring products to job sites using company vehicles, adhering to safe driving practices and ensuring timely and accurate delivery.

Vehicle Maintenance: Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance tasks, such as checking fluid levels, tire pressure, and cleanliness, to ensure the safe and efficient operation of company vehicles.

Warehouse Maintenance: Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and free of hazards to maintain a safe working environment for all staff.

Quality Control: Inspect incoming and outgoing products for any defects or damages, reporting any issues to supervisors.

Communication: Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to ensure accurate fulfillment of orders and timely communication with customers regarding delivery schedules.

Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety guidelines, protocols, and regulations, both in the warehouse and during deliveries, to prevent accidents and injuries.


Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous warehouse experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
• Familiarity with basic computer operations and inventory management software is a plus.
• Comfortable working in a fastpaced environment and adapting to changing priorities.
• Knowledge of flooring materials and products is a bonus.

Work Environment:
This role primarily involves work within a warehouse environment, with occasional outdoor work during product deliveries. The position requires physical stamina to handle heavy materials and the ability to work in various weather conditions.

The compensation package will be competitive and commensurate with experience, including hourly wage, benefits, and opportunities for growth within the company.
