Join our Operations team as an Associate Scientist I / II in the MS&T Labs. The core responsibilities of this role include laboratory executions supporting large-scale investigations, raw material screening, and process optimization. The primary focus of this position will be upstream manufacturing on the small-scale. Experience the excitement and varied challenges as we launch new products. It's the quality of the products that ignites our passion to rapidly develop innovative new processes.Accountabilities:
As an Associate Scientist, you will support laboratory studies through routine small-scale bioreactor sampling and monitoring.
You will have the ability to learn/perform basic filtration and purification experiments and perform more than two analytical methods independently.
You will maintain GDP for all laboratory experiments and contribute to lean labs continuous improvement initiatives by completing assigned laboratory upkeep tasks.
You will also contribute to the laboratories sustainability efforts by being mindful of waste, water consumption, and electricity.Essential Skills/Experience:
- BS/BA/MS in Engineering, Biological/Physical Sciences, or equivalent focus of study.
- Science or Engineering
- BS 8 years, MS 5 years in a cGMP biopharmaceutical production setting with a focus on largescale mammalian cell culture processes.
