Mechanic needed for strange sound coming from the engine of a 2005 Renault coupe cabrio - Melrose, IA, United States - beBee Handyman

We are looking for a mechanic in Melrose, IA to repair our car.

Unfortunately, we do not have the option of using a tow truck due to insurance reasons, so we had to leave the car at a gas station between Riviera and Miraflores.

We are in need of urgent repairs within the next 24 hours.

The car is a 2005 Renault coupe cabrio with between 150,000 and 200,000 kilometers on it. It uses diesel fuel. The engine is making a strange noise and we turned it off as a precaution. We suspect it may be an issue with the timing belt.

We are looking for a mechanic who can provide the best price for the repair. Our preferred time for the repair is in the late afternoon (18:00 - 21:00).

If possible, we would like the service to be done at the gas station where the car is currently located.

Additional note from the customer:
The engine sounds fine at idle, but makes a strange noise when accelerating. Could it be an issue with the injectors?
