    Description

    A health services network in New York City is currently seeking a licensed Registered Nurse (RN) to join one of their facilities in Manhattan as an Outpatient Transitional Living Residence Nurse.

    Responsibilities:

    The Outpatient Nurse (RN) will:

    • Develop and assist in orientation and ongoing mentoring of the Nursing staff
    • Conduct or direct the Nursing staff in the implementation of interventions to enhance patient outcomes
    • Evaluate effectiveness of nursing interventions in meeting the needs of individuals by chart review and clinical supervision
    • Attend the treatment team meetings and collaborate with client team members to ensure that individuals' needs are addressed
    • Serve as a consultant and resource to nursing staff in patient care and the use of equipment
    • Develop written assessments
    • Conduct peer evaluation of nursing staff performance
    • Conduct monitoring and evaluation nursing services
    • Work with clinic leadership to complete tasks related to the specialized outpatient program activities
    • Perform other duties, as needed

    Qualifications:

    • Outpatient experience
    • License and current registration to practice as a Registered Nurse in NYS.
    • Current BLS Card.
    • Preferred qualification: Minimum one year of experience working in a Behavioral Health setting.
